Early career researchers Awards

ESCPB, thanks to its sponsors, is offering awards to early career researchers for best presentations and best poster.

Benefits
First and second finalists for best oral presentations will get the equivalent of the meeting early bird registration (depending if Post-Doc or PhD/BSc/MSc) for the 32nd ESCPB Meeting.
Third finalist for best oral presentation and first best poster presentation will receive a price in material goods kindly offered by our sponsors.
Furthermore, the Slow-Food Ischia and Procida Riccardo d'Ambra’s Award of 250 euros, kindly sponsored by slowfoodischiaeprocida in good memory of the beloved Riccardo d’Ambra, will be given to the best oral presentation on scientific research aimed at finding sustainable techniques in aquaculture.

Eligibility
Candidates must:
Registered to the conference.
Present at least one oral presentation or a poster.
Be a student (bachelor, master or PhD), a fellowship or a post-doc. Please provide a valid proof.

Terms and Conditions
A commission selected among the Scientific and Organizing Committees will evaluate the presenting candidate during the ESCPB conference.
Financial awards are personal and cannot be given to others.
Award candidates must register before the early bird registration deadline.
Award candidates must present at least one oral presentation or a poster.

“Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn’s Grant for External PhD Student/young researchers” application information

Applicants must submit the following information no later than Friday, 3 June 2022 by sending an email to congress@escpb2022.eu

To be included:
Personal statement outlining why the candidate requires the reduced fee, the motivation to participate at the ESCPB 32nd meeting and how participating benefits their own research or career (e.g. research focus, network) (max 500 words) and a short CV (maximum one page).
Statement about the active contribution to the meeting.
All applicants will be informed about the outcome by Wednesday, 10 June 2022.

Terms and Conditions

If not otherwise involved in the meeting, applicants are expected to submit an abstract as presenting author for the 32nd ESCPB Meeting.
Applicants must be current PhD student, or former student graduated no longer than 8 years ago for former Bcs/MCs or 5 year ago for former PhD student.
Applicants must not be contracted with the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn in any way.
