ESCPB 2022

It is a pleasure and honour to invite you to attend the 32nd ESCPB Congress, to be held by Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn at the Darwin Dohrn Museum (Naples, Italy), between the 28th and the 31st of August 2022.

This edition of the conference will focus on a main theme: ‘Comparative physiology and biochemistry in the Anthropocene: understanding the physiological and biochemical complexity of a changing world’.

The conference will provide an ideal platform to present, discuss and implement state-of-art ideas and approaches in Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry, while anticipating future directions. An attractive scientific program encompassing various different scientific sessions will be developed over 4 days. For the first time, the conference will take place in hybrid mode, with the possibility of attending both in person and remotely. Only for students who participate remotely there will be a special fee of 30 Euros each for the entire conference.

We are thus confident that ESCPB 2022 will represent an unforgettable professional and personal experience for all participants, also providing a good networking for their scientific careers. Following the tradition of the ESCPB meetings, several young investigator awards (YIA) will be made available thanks to the involved sponsors.

Naples

Naples

We warmly welcome you to Naples, capital of the Region of Campania, one of the largest and beautiful art cities on the Mediterranean Sea. The city dominates the Gulf of Naples, expanding from the Sorrentine Peninsula to the volcanic area of the Phlegraean Fields. It offers an extremely evocative vista of the imposing Vesuvian mount and of the three magnificent islands of Ischia, Procida and Capri. The city historic center counts 2500 years of a fascinating existence, and that was therefore added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1995.
